CREATIVE FAMILIES
A Family Strengthening Program
"Creative Families" is a social service program provided by five (5) of the Columbus Federation of Settlement Houses. These include:
Central Community House,
Clintonville-Beechwold Community Resources Center,
Godman Guild Association,
Neighborhood House, Inc. and
St. Stephen's Community House.
Creative Families is a family-strengthening program that provides support services to TANF eligible families.
A Family Advocate works in partnership with the family to help identify issues/concerns that prevent the family from becoming self-reliant. Families are linked to specific programs and services that will help them achieve their family goals.

HOW CAN A FAMILY OBTAIN SERVICES FROM CREATIVE FAMILIES?
1. Contact the nearest Settlement House (see below) in your zip code area. Ask for the Family Advocate in the Creative Families Program.
2. You must meet eligibility requirements using the TANF Eligibility form and guidelines. The Family Advocate will assist with completion of this form.
3. The Family Advocate and the Family will work together to achieve the family goals.
WHAT CAN A FAMILY EXPECT FROM THE FAMILY ADVOCATE?
1. To be treated with respect and courtesy.
2. Referral & Linkage to appropriate services.
3. Setting & Reassessment of goals.
